Visiting from Japan and tried out this store. Staff were courteous and friendly. We got two bagels, the Salmon Goodness on a toasted Sesame bagel and a Green (wrap) on a toasted Cheddar bagel. Both were absolutely delicious. The dirty chai was great too! And service was pretty quick (got everything in ~5 min). We went at 7:30 on a Saturday, and there were one or two customers before us.

Don't get anything other than a bagel from here. And don't get the salmon add-on unless you want a like 2 slices of salmon (different visit) for $7.75 (just buy it at mr kiwi) …

This is a lunch spot, not a bagel shop 👎 They basically never have more than a few bagels ready at any one time. They looked at me like I was insane when I wanted to order a half dozen bagels once. Service is intolerably slow (can't get acknowledged by the cashier). One time, the staff mispronounced my (very simple) name and then laughed at me while I took my order. The bagels aren't even very good. It's just a spot for hipsters, run by hipsters.

BK Bagels is an iconic and consistent bagel shop. A neighborhood staple, the heart and soul of the store is the incredible general manager Andrea who makes the patrons feel at home. Everything is delicious but I tend to stick to the classics.
